Emily Food Shelf and Resource Center
The Emily Food Shelf and Resource Center is located at 20948 Co Rd 1, Emily, MN 56447 and serves Emily, Fifty Lakes, Outing, and surrounding communities.
​Monthly distribution is every Tuesday from 12:00 pm – 2 pm and the second Tuesday of the month from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. For additional information check out the website at www.emilyfoodshelf.com. For emergency assistance call 218.763.3663.

The Resource Center offers a variety of community resource programs including help with financial aid, housing assistance, educational support, and more. The Resource Center offers two computer stations and a printer for neighbors' use to help with job searches, educational research, document preparation, etc. The Resource Center is open every Tuesday from 2 pm to 4 pm and every Thursday from noon to 3 pm. In 2025 the City of Emily will be celebrating it's 125th Anniversary with a special larger event! The 2025 Emily Day will be organized by the City's 125th Anniversary Committee in conjunction with the Celebrate Emily Day Committee. The 125th Anniversary Committee is an Emily City Council committee and this committee will determine use of funds budgeted for the historic celebration. All vendors should continue to contact the Celebrate Emily Day Committee. The members of the committees will work together to plan and organize this historic Emily event!

PICKLEBALL TOURNAMENT
The City of Emily will be hosting a one day, just-for-fun, Pickleball Tournament on July 19th as part of the 125th Anniversary Celebration. The tournament will be held at the new outdoor courts behind Emily City Hall. It will be a random partner, doubles, open tournament. Players sign up as individuals. All players will have a different randomly assigned partner for each game. Each player will play 5 games and the highest accumulated individual points scored will determine the winners.
The tournament is open to players 18 and older and will be limited to the first 32 players to register and pay the $5.00 registration fee (non-refundable). 100% of the registration fees will go towards pickleball court expansion and improvements.
