The City of Emily installed the Emily Wastewater Treatment Facility in 2006. The system services properties surrounding the intersection of County Road 1 and State Highway 6. Revenues from the system are allocated for Debt Retirement, Operation and Maintenance, and Equipment Replacement.

Sewer Utility Billing is calculated on a quarterly basis. Bills are due 15 days after billing and penalties are calculated 30 days after billing. Please make checks payable to the City of Emily. The City accepts payment by cash, check, debit card, or credit card, but does not have change available. Payments should be sent to the City of Emily, P.O. Box 68, Emily, MN 56447. Billing Facts:
- The City of Emily only provides sewer. Water is provided by private wells.
- All bills are sent to the property owner (effective Jan. 1, 2012)
- Rates will increase by 3% annually (effective Jan. 1, 2012)
- The city accepts credit or debit cards
- Save a stamp and put your payment in the drop off box outside of Emily City Hall instead.
