The State Primary election is scheduled for August 11th, 2026. This is a partisan election, meaning voters can only vote for a candidate along party lines. In person voting will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Emily City Hall, 39811 State Highway 6, Emily, MN 56447 

The General election is scheduled for November 3rd, 2026. In person voting will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Emily City Hall, 39811 State Highway 6, Emily, MN 56447

All Crow Wing County voters may vote early in person at the Crow Wing County Elections Office, 2nd Floor West Wing, Historic Courthouse, 326 Laurel Street, Brainerd, MN.   Phone: (218) 824-1051

• Please note that registration closes 20 days before Election Day, but you can still register on Election Day with proof of current residency.                                      

• June 26th, 2026 at the Crow Wing County Elections Office in-person early absentee voting starts during normal business hours (8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) Monday through Friday, except legal holidays, beginning 46 days before the election.

• July 24th, 2026 at the Crow Wing County Elections Office direct ballot absentee voting begins (placing ballot directly in ballot counters)

• August 8th, 2026 at the Crow Wing County Elections Office Open extended hours from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

• August 10th, 2026 at the Crow Wing County Elections Office Open extended hours from 8;00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.​

• August 11th, 2026 at the Crow Wing County Elections Office Open for mail ballot precincts from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and for Absentee ballot drop off until 5:00 p.m.
